About Us

Dr. Eddy Suchy graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and joined the WVAH team at its original Salem location in 2014. Her passion for veterinary medicine, commitment to clinical excellence, and collaborative leadership were instrumental in opening the Gladstone hospital in 2018. Dr. Suchy purchased WVAH of Gladstone in 2021, and the Clackamas hospital followed in 2024, expanding the WVAH family to two thriving locations.

WVAH has always been a true family business. Nearly 30 years ago, the original hospital group was founded by a husband-and-wife veterinary team who became pillars of their community. We are honored to continue their tradition of family-led, community-focused care. Many members of our team have been part of the WVAH family for more than a decade, reflecting the supportive and welcoming culture we work hard to maintain. We believe that when our team feels valued, respected, and empowered to grow, our clients and patients benefit as well.

Across our Gladstone and Clackamas hospitals, our mission is to provide exceptional, modern veterinary medicine with compassion and integrity. Through experienced medical teams, advanced diagnostics, and thoughtful collaboration, we strive to deliver meaningful value at every stage of a pet’s care.
